Havoc Industries
Havoc Industries is operated in the United Kingdom by Havoc Industries, which is the controller responsible for personal data processed through this website and Havoc Hub.
What You Send Us, And Technical Basics
- Enquiries: the name, email, phone, business, website and message you send through the contact form.
- Free Website Review: your website address, business name, name and email, and the results of the automated review of your public website.
- Havoc Hub (clients): account details, the business details we need for invoices and agreements (such as legal name, billing address, and company and VAT numbers), project information, your answers to the website questionnaire, files you upload, approvals, support requests and service records.
- Technical data: server and security logs (such as IP address, browser and time of request), essential cookies and your cookie choice. We store a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address with enquiries so we can stop abuse without keeping the address itself.
- If you allow analytics: how pages are used, such as page views and button clicks.
To Help You And Run The Service
- Reply to enquiries and follow up once about a review you requested.
- Show and, if you ask, email your website review results.
- Deliver our services to clients, including projects, hosting, support and billing.
- Keep the website and Havoc Hub secure, and prevent spam and abuse.
- Understand which pages are useful, where you've allowed analytics.
Why We're Allowed To
We rely on steps at your request before a contract (enquiries and reviews), contract (providing services to clients), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, a single relevant follow-up and improving our services), consent (optional analytics) and legal obligation (for example, accounting records).
Only After Permission
When you allow analytics, this site may load Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, which set analytics cookies. Advertising-related consent stays switched off. If you withdraw permission, we stop analytics and remove its cookies.
You can change your choice at any time in .
Service Providers We Use
Your information may be processed by providers that help us run the business, such as our hosting and server providers, our email provider, Google (where analytics is allowed) and, for clients, a payment provider such as Stripe. They act on our instructions. Some providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell your personal information.
Not Forever
We keep enquiry and review information for as long as it's useful for the conversation you started, and remove leads that don't go anywhere after a reasonable period. Client records are kept for the length of our relationship and then as long as needed for legal and accounting purposes. Security logs are kept for a limited time.
You Stay In Control
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
How We Protect It
Encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, two-factor authentication for staff, access limited to the people who need it, and separation so each client can only ever see their own information.
When This Changes
We'll update this notice when our services, providers or legal requirements change. The revision date is shown at the top of the page.
